I care about myself and my health. I work out not only for aesthetics, but also for emotional and physical release. When I started down the path of training for an NPC competition last year, at 39 years old, I never imagined that it might be something that I would want to continue conditioning myself for into my 40s. I've been extremely fortunate to have enlisted very caring and considerate health care professionals along the way on my fitness journey. Each one has taught me something and developed my understanding of my body mechanics, which has helped me recover from injuries along the way. I've also implicitly trusted each one of them. So, now about Dr. Nick. Let me bullet point some things that I like:-very approachable with a warm and positive demeanor-takes his time to explain what he's doing, why he's doing it and provides me with things that I can do on my own to assist.-he takes an ACTIVE recovery approach-he understands that as a competitor, I can't really afford complete down time.As a result, I'm still:-lifting-running-laughing and enjoying lifeCan't wait to update and so glad to have him as part of my 2nd competition support team!!!!!!
